Will I see the sun someday?
Will he kiss my hands again?
I don’t remember the smell of damp earth
I cannot breathe this leaded air
These twisted hallways have become hushed
A lonely lute plays an endless waltz
I’m fading into the distant blue
My eyes are shut away from the light
‘Cause the night is wiser than the morning
Wiser…
Fall is over, cicadas are quiet
No songs for me, no tears, no flowers
Runs wild my laugh but I smile no more
My rage arises like a violent storm
Not hear the thunderous metallic yells?
Not hear the footsteps on the stair?
I’m changing into the Greatest Dread
And I’ll bring ruin, I’ll bring decay
I embrace our downfall
We’ll dance under the water
Our palace was golden, now it’s rotten
At last I’ll tear apart these walls
(Son coeur est un luth suspendu;
Sitot qu’on le touche, il résonne)

False Inflection
04:35
|
|||
A tired wanderer is looking for
A sign that would keep him on the road
A muse passed by and gave him ten silver drachmae
She had the most beautiful smile
But it means nothing
It means no thing
Wolves are hunting, buildings are singing chants
Above an ocean of amber stars
On one shore a good lady plays for the whole world
On the other shore the dogs beg for some love
Could these flowers bloom in winter?
Would the uncaged birds fly?
There is a woman in a distant land
Who will fulfill your every desire
She smells so good, her colors will make you glide
Millions die just for the honor to lay by her side
And she feels nothing
She feels no thing
A cracked ship is preparing a new trip
She trusts to survive against the dismal waters
Armed with a firm compass and sharpened knives
She flips a coin and buys another day of life
Could these flowers bloom in winter?
Would the uncaged birds fly? (To warm skies)
Is there a precious emerald hidden somewhere?
Or is the Dawn Splendor just a false inflection?
(Men of various nations had the same dream
They saw a woman running at night to an unknown city
They pursued her and settled in the city, waiting for her sight one more night
Succeeding travelers couldn’t understand
What drew people to this ugly city, to this trap)

The Visitor

Someone is knocking at the door
I know who’s coming
My body shivers
With nausea and cold
I wonder if I can survive
Another battle facing
Its acrid hiss
Its rusty teeth
Its eyes are thirty thousand
It wears red tore garments
It grows in corners
It feeds on locked preys
Prowling in silence,
The Greatest Dread wipes out the fields and
Crawling, marauding,
It spreads the fear
Waiting in darkness,
The blow will fall on me anytime now
Blaring in nightmares,
The roaring drums bring up a cursed sign
Someone is breaking through the wall
I hear its fast pace
The clock’s tick-tock
Thrusts my chest
I will drawn once more tonight
Surrounded by its soldiers
Their names are heinous
Bad omens
Prowling in silence,
The Greatest Dread wipes out the fields and
Crawling, marauding,
It spreads the fear
Waiting in darkness,
The blow will fall on me anytime now
Blaring in nightmares,
The roaring drums bring up a cursed sign

Bacchanalia

It is so warm around the fountain
The Green Fairy blesses our night
The blurry air burns all our worries
The Enchantress Woman calls with open arms
We’re gonna invite Alice to bike the road with us
The concrete melts and colors vibe down
We see their faces stripped out of their lies
Our words have so much meaning
There is no tomorrow looming
When the luring boxes broadcast mesmeric eerie chords
Oh, the wind brings tales of unexplored pleasures
We’re gladly lost holding this sweet chaos like a treasure
As we dance our wild hearts join under the moonlight
There is no temple where we belong
Sated with ambrosia, we lay on the grass
Betting on bright unicorns while it still lasts
The bells announce the end
Soon the spell will break
We’ll spread like dandelion clocks in the vanishing mist
Oh, the wind brings tales of unexplored pleasures
We’re gladly lost holding this sweet chaos like a treasure
As we dance our wild hearts join under the moonlight
There is no temple where we belong
